Sign Our Petition to the Board of Education

Add your name to the petition calling for the Montgomery County Board of Education to take action to address overcrowding at Woodlin. Woodlin has become increasingly overcrowded over the previous twelve years, with significant increase in enrollment over the previous three years. We want our students to have the appropriate and safe facilities in which to allow them to learn and excel. Continued delay in addressing this growing problem is unacceptable.

FLES Before School Spanish Classes

Woodlin is continuing to offer before-school Spanish classes through FLES. There will be an introductory (K-1) class on Wednesday mornings at 8 am and a beginner class (grades 2-5) on Friday mornings at 7:45. You can register for FLES classes on their website. After School Clubs

Save the Date for Woodlin’s Inaugural Fun Run!

Your PTA is hard at work planning Woodlin’s Inaugural Fun Run Event. The Fun Run will take place on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 9:00-10:30 AM for grades K-2 and from 1:00-2:30 PM for grades 3-5. This event will replace older fundraisers and allow all students to participate! Please check out the FAQ page for more information.

WES capacity status

WES is projected to have 685 students for the 2014-2015 school year. However, WES will more likely have approximately 650 students, which is roughly 40 more students than in 2013-2014. How does that increase affect the number of portables at Woodlin?
