Walk to School Day

Woodlin Elementary Nation Walk to School Day
It’s National Walk to School day on Wednesday October 10, 2018. Let’s join schools in all 50 states and walk to school!
- Get a group of neighbors and friends from your bus stop, building or neighborhood and make a walking plan.
- Wear your Woodlin gear and Woodlin colors. Get together earlier and make posters. It’s a walking party!
- Arrive at school by 8:45am! Bring an extra snack/water for your child if they get hungry from the walk.
- MCPD community crossing guards will be at 16th Street and 2nd Ave AND Georgia Ave and Seminary Rd

We would love volunteers to help organize neighbors to walk to school day. Feel free to post the flier around your neighborhood or building. Also, even if you can’t walk the whole way from your home to Woodlin, maybe park a few blocks away and walk in with your child. We will have stickers to pass out for everyone but it might be fun to all walk in together.
