International Night and Potluck

November 9, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Woodlin Elementary School International Night and Potluck

November 9 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

International Night and Potluck is an annual celebration of Woodlin’s cultural diversity through food and performances.  Sponsored by the PTA, it is an opportunity to instill pride in our children of their individual heritage as well as inspire curiosity about other countries and cultures.

This year, we are honored to present Indian, Irish, and Mexican dancing, plus a demonstration of karate!

Here are ways you can help:

  1. Please sign up to bring a favorite family dish or one that represents your cultural heritage: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d44ada72ea1fd0-international.
  2. If relevant for your family, please plan for your child to wear traditional dress from your culture!
  3. We will have a space available to display posters or collages (nothing larger than 20×30 in) if you would like (not required) to showcase your country or culture with photos or information.  Ideally, it’d be great if you could drop off the posters in the main office after 9:00 a.m. on Fri, Nov 9, or you can bring to the event.
  4. Last but not least, you can contact jpetruzzi02@gmail.com or sandrarodrich@gmail.com if you’d like to volunteer.
