    • In addition, kids who are already enrolled with KAH or CDC on these days are welcome to return to those programs after their clubs end. Their club leaders will escort them to KAH or CDC and check them in.
    • You must indicate which aftercare (KAH or CDC) your child goes to when you register! You can do this in the Notes field of Kiddo, or email clubs@woodlinpta.org if needed.
  • Scholarships: Scholarships are available for families who need support covering the costs of participation. Contact clubs@woodlinpta.org to request a scholarship.

After-school activities from outside vendors/companies/individuals are not sponsored or endorsed by Woodlin ES and Woodlin ES PTA. Activity providers are responsible for students during the time of the scheduled activity and are required to manage arrival and dismissal of their activity. Parents must contact providers directly about activity schedules/time. Parents are encouraged to contact activity providers to learn about their organization, rules, policies, and safety measures before enrolling their children.

WHISPERshout Poetry Comix (Grades 1-5)

In a small group of about 8-10, we’ll read two recent books that treat poems like mini graphic novels, examining how the authors, Grant Snider and Renee LaTulippe, mix comics and poetry. We’ll step outside to use nature as one of our inspirations and try writing in different voices. After some editing, we’ll ink and color some of our best efforts. At the last session, we’ll present our work to families and kids will take home their own copy of our published poetry anthology.
