JOIN THE PTA!
- For those of you who are new to our school, the Woodlin PTA is an all-volunteer organization of parents, guardians, family members, teachers, and staff working together on behalf of our children.
- We work to 1) provide academic enrichment programs to all students; 2) host community-building events for all to enjoy; 3) advocate on behalf of the school’s needs at the local, county, and state levels; and 4) fundraise to support the school, teachers and staff.
- Please join the PTA and help us provide after-school clubs, assembly events, and weekend activities across the year. Family memberships of $20, individual and faculty memberships of $12, and custom memberships of as little as $5 are available at the link below.

Call for Classroom Parents!
Please consider volunteering to be a room parent this year! Room parents are asked to support teachers by organizing PTA-funded class celebrations (Harvest party on October 31, Valentine’s party on February 12) and by coordinating classroom teacher appreciation gifts and a class basket for our annual Spring auction.

Save the Date: Movie Night, September 19
Save the date for Woodlin Movie night, we’ll be showing Zootopia 2 on Saturday September 19 from 6-9pm! More details to follow in coming weeks.
Lost & Found
With the start of a new year, there are lots of new habits forming, and your child may be more likely to misplace an item as they get used to their new routines. Please visit the Lost & Found, located in the All Purpose Room. The best time to visit is right after school ends or when you pick up from KAH. Just come to the front office and let them know you’d like to check the Lost & Found. The best way to get your child’s items back is to label them with their name and also check frequently as it sometimes takes a couple days to show up in the Lost & Found.
Calling All Garden Enthusiasts!
This fall, Woodlin will be planting a pollinator/native plant garden right in front of the main entrance to our school building. This exciting project is a gift from local business Abrahams Landscapes, who will provide the plants and oversee the planting. Please mark your calendars and join us on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 9 am to 12 pm as we put the baby plants in the ground! No gardening experience is necessary, and Wizards of all ages are welcome (but this is not a drop-off event)! Parents and guardians interested in volunteering with the garden project — on planting day and beyond — should join the WhatsApp group for updates and announcements.

Girls on the Run!
Girls On The Run – GoTR is back for another fall season at Woodlin starting the week of Sept 27th and ending with a Celebration 5k on Sunday, November 22nd. This opportunity is for 3rd – 5th Grade girls per the program’s requirements. Two practices will be held each week: Monday morning before school (7:45am-9am) and Friday afternoon after school (3:30pm – 4:45pm). No prior running experience required. GoTR is designed to inspire girls of all abilities, encourage them to embrace their inner strength and make meaningful connections with their teammates while finding their “happy pace”.
